An Unnoticed Fangirl
Just a short poem a wrote, when I wondered, "What about Treebeard?" I do not own LOTR.
Frodo's got 'em, Aragorn too,
Practically the whole Fellowship crew!
God knows, Legolas has A LOT,
Thanks to Orlando Bloom-"OMG! SO HOT!"
So what of the less noticed characters and parts?
Surely they've also got their fangirls, clubs, and tarts!
Just because Treebeards a tree with a beard,
It doesn't make him frightening and weird!
Just ask Treebeard's Tree Huggers- they'll make you understand!
Hugging every single ent, all across the land!
So what of Thranduil, "Leggy"'s dad and Mirkwood's king?
The fangirls know it's he who should have gotten that third ring!
And what about Shelob? She's got 'em too,
A support group for those who were almost smooshed with a shoe!
Every giant spider has a fanboy now and then,
When they aren't drooling over Galadriel and Arwen!
Lets not forget the orcs, Middle Earth's anti elf,
Come on, don't pretend you haven't thought of them yourself!
And speaking of dark creatures, what about old Lurtz?
Every time I see him die, I know my heart sort of hurts…
But I'm not a fangirl! No! Don't get me wrong!
I'm totally sane! Sane, I say! Sane as the day is long!
Speaking of insanities, Sauraman the white!
Come on, don't tell me you don't sometimes think of him at night!
Speaking of which, what about Sauron, the evil guy?
You can't say you aren't in the least attracted to the giant eye…
Are there any girls for Gandalf, Wizard of the Grey?
Maybe with his magic he'll conjure one up one day…
Coming to the end, and reading what's above,
I wonder if any of these characters have your love?
