Bitter
by: WoW
Did you ever think that one day, I would get you back? That for every ounce of pain you ever cost me, I would pay you back?
I bet you didn't.
I think of every day I was in your custody. Every single day I had to watch you walk around my crate, smirking and taking notes on a clipboard. Every single day you unlocked the doors and held an electric collar at my neck. Every single day you set me on the treadmill for eight hours, testing how fast I could run.
You bet I did.
And every single day, I would focus on your name tag, which said the same thing every time.

Don't think I forgot everything when I escaped.
And there was one particular thing I always remembered: your smile. It was thin-lipped, with just a hint of maliciousness in it. It was a fake one. There was a coating of sweetness there, destined to coax us out the first time and test us.
It never worked again. But you can't thank yourself. You taught us something important we never forgot again.
You can't trust anyone.
I guess it would seem I'm a bit bitter. It does look that way, doesn't it?
But now, the opportunity is finally here, sitting on a gleaming silver platter. I'm holding you against the wall. Your collar is in my hand.
And the best thing of all?
You have this look of fear on your face.
It's almost delightful, the way you are looking at me.
But now it's finally time I can pay you back. For the times you laughed cruelly and beat me when I couldn't run fast enough. For the times you frowned and shocked me with the electricity when I couldn't solve a problem fast enough.
Yes, I am a bit bitter.
But you can understand, can't you?
I'm sure you'll forgive. But there's no time now. I won't kill. Killing is simple and brutal. You taught us to be eloquent and professional in everything.
I hear them coming. Alarm bells are ringing and feet are pounding on the ground.
I let go of your collar. After all, what better way to torment you than to haunt you in your dreams? I'm always around, Walker, don't forget.
I'll be watching and waiting.
For the perfect moment.
Don't forget.

This FF can be seen through many perspectives. It can be Max, hungry for revenge after years of torment. It can be Max 2, finally escaping from hell. It can be Fang. It can be Ari. It can be anyone with a grudge toward the School.
