Lola looked up at the rising high school building. Goode High School. What a nice place. Well, except for the random things happening every now and then, like fires or earthquakes. But, other than that, it was a really nice school. She stepped through the doors, ready to finally finish her school year. As she walked through the long hallways, she started to wonder what she was going to do over the summer. Maybe she would go to a summer camp! Ooh, that would be fun! She could make new friends! Lola went into her first class of the day. Oceanography. She always loved the class, being a lover of sea creatures. As everyone else took his or her seats, she noticed that a student was missing. Lola raised her hand.
"Yes, Lola?" The teacher asked, writing something on the chalkboard.
"Percy is missing. May I be excused to go find him?" Lola asked, standing up.
"Yes. But please hurry back!" He yelled after her as she ran out of the classroom. Lola looked around the hallways, in almost every classroom, and even outside. Nothing. Then, she looked in the gym. That's when her life changed.
