Disclaimer: I don't own the X-Men. I don't own this song either, it's called 'No One' by Cold.

A/N: I wrote this for another great Evo fanfiction site at, http://www.extreme-evolution.com/fan_fic/, under the pen name, Logrey. Please R&R.

Stargazing

---------------

**Well I can't ever really believe

No one was sent to get me

And I feel like I'm being

Erased and no one got left here

I'm all alone no one was sent to get me

I'm all alone no one got left here

**But I'm fine no one left here

Well I'm fine

If it's fine then stay

I can't breathe when I see

The pictures sent without you

I feel like I've been erased

No one got left here

I'm all alone no one was sent to get me

I'm all alone no one got left here

It was quiet, almost too quiet, yet at the same time, it was peaceful...and dark. It was so dark that night that the stars alone gave off almost a florescent glow. The stars were bright, but the black behind them was so incredibly dark...so dark that you could almost see the neverending-ness of space for what it truly was...just black and nothingness.

Logan sat alone on the rooftop of the Xavier Mansion. He sat there, just being lonely and gathering his thoughts. He didn't think anyone would notice, or even care that he was out here, it was so late out. What Logan didn't know, was that someone did notice, and someone did care. That someone, was Rogue.

---------------

Rogue carefully scaled the roof, making her way cautiously to the dark figure that sat in the shadows looking up at the stars. She sat herself beside Logan without saying a word, and he didn't seem to notice. Either that or he just wasn't going to object.

Finally Logan turned to the teen with half a smile. "Hey kid."

Rogue grinned, unable to help it. Atleast she wasn't invisible to him. He was the one who had saved her, saved her from herself. They were close, even though neither of them might really know it yet. "Hey."

Logan looked back up at the stars, leaning back against the roof so he was propped against his elbow. He cocked his head to the side, watching Rogue's posture mimic his. "What're ya doin' out here?"

Rogue smiled faintly, not looking into his eyes, but gazing at him just the same. "Lookin' for you." She knew what it was like to feel lonely, and sometimes a person just needed to feel like they'd be missed.

Logan just looked at Rogue, wondering why she'd come out to find him, but then he realized that it didn't matter, he didn't really care. The fact that she even wondered where he was meant something to him, although Logan would never admit it. He just smiled at her, and they sat up there on the roof for the better part of the night, just sitting and staring at the sky, possibly wondering what was out there.

**I'm so sick of this terrible

Instinct it's so hard now

Just to find you

**So sick of the terrible instinct

I can only find you
