Author's Note: Two days after posting this, I came to the realization that some may not recognize the basis of the song. It is the Pernese history of the events recorded in Todd McCaffrey's Dragonsblood. If you have not read it, I recommend it highly. In Anne's own words, Todd has "...done done Mom proud." This is only my second attempt at song lyrics in any genre so, as always, please review!
