Lucy saw Judge Turpin standing at the front of her lawn.
"Nellie watch Joanna," she said
She went outside.
"Mrs. Barker," Judge Turpin said, "May we talk?"
"I suppose so," she said quietly
It had been quite a rough day for her. She couldn't handle another rough day at the moment.
"I have decided to release Mr. Barker. I will have him sent for immediately. You see, you are a mother and a wife and I don't know what it is but something has clipped my conscious. That is all I have come to say. I will see you in the morrow"
"Thank you," Lucy screamed excitedly, "THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!"
She went inside to tell Nellie the good news. It turned out to be a good day. Thanks to Judge Turpin it was a great day.
