Summary: Jealously lives upon doubts.
Spencer watches her over his glass. She's had too much to drink, he can tell by the way she moves against Morgan, but at the moment he's torn whether to tell her to sit or not. Will's playing the guitar, a soul-y version of a pop song. He's surprised the man can sing, although it seems JJ isn't at all. He looks at the woman who's enthralled with her boyfriend's skills. He smiles amused at the woman, glad she's happy. She deserves it. They all do. He looks over his shoulder, seeing Garcia and Kevin sitting in the kitchen, talking softly, the redhead's eyes on Derek as he dances with Lila. He follows her gaze again, seeing Lila with her eyes closed, hand in her hair as she grinds against his best guy friend. Morgan's in tempo behind her, keeping his hands off of her, he notes, gladly. Lila looks over at him through half-lidded eyes and her lips quirk into a smirk as she calls him over with a finger. He shakes his head and sips his drink again. He doesn't dance, not even in the comforts of his own home. She pouts and leans her head on Morgan's shoulder. The man nods before she makes her way over to Spencer, slowly, seductively. Will's started to play something else, he doesn't recognize it, but it's nice. Lila smiles as her hands move up his thighs.
"Come dance with me." She says, her voice low. His eyes move up to Morgan who is grabbing at Emily's hand, trying to get her to dance with him. He looks back at the woman in front of him.
"I can't dance."
She blows a raspberry and runs her hands up his chest, grabbing at his tie. "You can, I've seen those hips in action." She teases as she tugs him upward.
He blushes, his eyes moving to see if anyone heard her. They didn't or don't acknowledge it. He stands up, setting his drink behind her as she pulls him towards where Morgan and Emily are, the middle of the living room that's overly large, Lila's idea - for parties, she had said at the time. She wraps her arms around his neck and presses herself flush against him. "Just go with the music." She says, her lips brushing against his skin, breath tickling. He stands still as she sways against him, moving her hands in his hair over his shoulders, getting lost in the music. She turns in her arms and Spencer rests his hands on her hips as she dances. He catches eyes with Morgan, who laughs at his discomfort. He flushes as Lila rolls her hips into his before turning back around, arms wrapping back around his neck.
"I love you. I love our friends. I love our house." She breathes and kisses him. "But you suck at dancing."
He watches as she moves back to Morgan and Emily. He sees Emily laugh and back up, coming to join him on the couch.
"She's crazy." She says as she sits down. She looks at the beers before shrugging and taking a sip out a random one.
"She's drunk." He corrects as Morgan pulls her closer, starting the seductive dance they had been in moments ago.
"I'm surprised you're so calm. Your girlfriend is all over Derek."
"A smart man once said 'Jealousy lives upon doubts. It becomes madness or ceases entirely as soon as we pass from doubt to certainty.'"
Emily thinks about it before smiling. "Touché."
Spencer watches as the blonde woman looks over at him and smiles. He matches the look.
