Her tears fall and no-one sees.
Her weeping escapes her lips but no-one hears.
Or so she thought.
He stand in the crowd of adoring fans wanting nothing more than to push them away and hold her in his arms.
He longs to kiss her tears away and to hug her until the weeping ends.
But he can't.
He could never be seen caring for another human being,
Yet her tears break him while her smile saves him.
He knows that she loves him,
And that she knows he loves her.
He decides that just because he cannot be seen with her,
Doesn't mean that he can't be with her.
And so when the lights go off and the crowds fade away,
He takes her hand,
He spins her around,
He hugs her,
He kisses her,
And tells her how much he loves her.
But it always ends,
Yet even so they smile,
Because they will always have the shadows in which to hide their love.
