As usual, not my characters, Yuhki Kamatani's...lucky duck and the idea for this story came from a fanart I saw.
Miharu stared at Yoite. As usual, he was sitting, not on the couch, but in front of it. He sat down beside him. Yukimi was out doing something boring for the surface world and he'd left the boys home, alone, again.
The room was quiet.
Yoite made a sudden 'ah' noise.
Miharu looked over to see a cockroach looking back at them. Slowly, Yoite moved to point at it.
"Yoite, don't." Miharu pushed his arm down.
"But."
Miharu grabbed Yoite's hat and placed it over the cockroach.
"What'd you do that for?" Yoite wanted his hat back.
"I was tired of looking at it."
They heard a sliding noise. Looking, they discovered the hat was moving across the floor.
The boys watched it scurry away.
Yoite grabbed Miharu's shirt sleeve.
"Do, do you want me to get your hat back?"
He shook his head. "It can keep it.
