The Only Thing He Awoke For
Ginny Weasley watched in awe as the love of her life caught the snitch with a marvelous dive. Harry Potter never ceased to amaze her. He was at least 50 feet high, with Malfoy swearing violently behind him. As Harry began his journey downward, one of the Slytherin beaters got particularly angry and smacked Harry in the head with his bar. He instantly dropped 30 feet to the ground landing on the hard mud.
Ginny immediately rushed downward and threw her broom on the ground after she landed. She ran over to Harry's side, to find him unconscious.
"Oh no, Harry wake up. Please" Ginny cried into his chest, and a crowd began to form around then. "Please wake up, Harry!"
Ron and Hermione rushed over, clinging to each other in dear. They dropped down, and Hermione cried into Ron's shoulder.
Ginny's mind instantly remembered a muggle fairytale that Colin Creevy read to her once. It was about Now White, and in the end, Prince Charming woke Snow White up with a kiss. Sure, Ginny realized that she wasn't a man, and that Harry wasn't poisoned by an apple. But Ginny wasn't really concerned. She was sure that this would work. Much to everyone's surprise, Ginny bent over Harry and pressed her lips against his cold ones.
His eyes fluttered open. "Bloody Hell! What's going on?"
"Shhhh…" Ginny said, and kissed him again, this time softer and sweeter. The only thing different was, that Harry was awake, and he had the opportunity to kiss back. And he seized that opportunity and he seized it well. Harry was a better kisser then she ever imagined.
Once they broke apart, (after quite a long while), Harry was grinning broadly.
"I don't think that it's a coincidence that your kiss was the only thing I woke up for," Harry said, thoughtfully. "I love you, Ginny, I really do."
Ginny blushed darker than her hair, and said, "Oh Harry, I've loved you for forever. Ever since you rescued me from that Tom Riddle. I've been grateful ever since."
Ginny grabbed Harry's hand, and helped him up. "We better get you up to the hospital wing to see if you didn't break any ribs or anything."
"Okay."
"Well, at least we know that you didn't break you lips!" Ginny said, and winked.
Harry laughed, and felt better than he had in a long time. He even forgot that he won the match. And that is a very big deal.
