Author's Note: Just a little drabble I came up with after my friend said she saw a spider in her home. This is for Sarah, who is still trying to find said spider.

Little Hugo sat near the door to his room, salty tears freely falling down his ruddy face. A pillow was tucked underneath his chin, catching the tears like a tissue. The six year old cried out when the monster took a step closer, thus alerting his parents. Not a moment sooner did Ron barrel into the room, frying pan in his hands. At the sight of his little boy coiled up on the ground, Ron squatted down in front of him, consoling the young boy to tell him what was wrong. For Ron didn't see anything amiss in his son's room, except that it was messier than normal.
"S-S-Spider!" Hugo squeaked, ducking his head into the pillow. He pointed at his bed, and Ron felt his face pale. It seemed as if his son developed the same arachnophobia he had, but the father of two put on a brave face and began to wield the pan like a Muggle baseball bat.
Taking a further look, Ron sighed in relief when he saw that it was an itty bitty spider, no bigger than the nail on his pinky. Taking his wand out, he levitated the spider so it was dancing in midair before going to open Hugo's window. Throwing the spider out the window, Ron turned to his cowering son.
"It's okay. It's gone," he said reassuringly, but he 'oof-ed' when little Hugo barreled into his leg, clutching onto it for dear life.
"It was scary, Daddy."
"I bet it was," Ron replied, ruffling his son's hair. "It's gone now, though. No spider is going to be in your bed tonight."
"Can I stay with you and Mummy?" Hugo asked hopefully, bright blue eyes beaming up at his father's. Ron sighed before picking his son up and latching the small boy onto his hip.
"Yes, but we must tell Mummy that it was a big spider, or she might kick us out. She might even let us have some biscuits before we go to bed."
