Chapter 3
I could not believe what just happened. I Lily Luna Potter was just sprted into Slytherin house. I got up from the stool and I walked over to my new house. I looked over at my brothers at the gryffindor table. The look I got from James was a look of distraught. Albus just grined at me, like he wasn't too happy about it, but he still accepts it anyways. As I walked towards my table I got looks from my cousins and the other students as well. Everyone looked shocked. I sat down at my table and I got mixed looks of hatred and shock. Ahd whos to blame them? I was shock too.
The feast had continued. Everyone ate but me. I guess after what happened I wasn't exactly hungry. I didn't know anyone in this house. Hugo got sorted into Gryffindor and Lorcan and Lysander got sorted into Ravenvlaw like their mother Luna. And then Rylie Longbottom, Professor Neville Longbottom's daughter got sorted into Huffelpuff like her mother. So I was completly alone.
The feast had ended and we were guided to our dorms, which were down in the dungons. I actually kinda liked it. Beeing that I was a first year I would be sharing a dorm with the seven other first years that were sorted into Slytherin house. There was Reagan Parkinson, Arabella Lestrange, Morgan Flint, twins Skylar and Bayile Carrow, and Sarah Higgs.
"You know Potter, just because you were sorted into Slytherin does not make you one of us, you got that?" Reagean said to me rudly. The Carrow twins nodded their heads in agreement of what she said. I ignored them.
"We all know you don't belong here Potter, so why don't you go cry to daddy. I bet he can get you resorted into your beloved Gryffindor house in no time." Arabella said.
I looked at them annoyed. "My last name might be Potter but that doesn't mean I am like them at all. My family doesn't see things the way I do. So I may be a Potter because of my name, but obviously I am different by being sorted into this house. The sorting hat is never wrong and I obviously was sorted here for a reason. So if I were you, I'd shut your mouth okay." I replied. There was silence after that. And with that we all went to bed.
