Rick walked around the jail late in the evening, his hand firmly grasping his pistol. It was cool, but he didn't mind at all, and it was still bright enough that he could see where he was going. He was on one of the "Nightly Patrols", as he liked to call it, just to make sure everything was alright. There were still a few walkers clawing and gnawing at the fence around the perimeter, but other than that, things were as good as they could be.

Suddenly, a figure began to materialize in the distance, and Rick squinted as he tried to make out what it was, quickening his pace.

As Rick got closer, the figure became clearer, and he stared at it in disbelief. It was one of those old telephone booths that were always seen in London.

"What the—" He started, but quickly shut up, and raised his gun as the door opened.

A tall man in a tweed suit stepped out, followed by a redheaded woman, wearing tight jeans and a blue blouse, and another tall man wearing a hoodie with a striped shirt underneath and jeans.

"Another perfect landing!" The man in the tweed suit shouted.

"Too bad we have no idea where we are…" The redhead mumbled, as she looked around. She gasped when she noticed Rick, who still had his gun aimed on them. Both men quickly turned in the direction she'd been looking in, and simultaneously froze.

"Who the hell are you, and what the hell are you doing here?" Rick demanded.

The man in the tweet suit raised his arms slowly, to show he was no threat, as he took a step forward. "This is Rory," The man said as he gestured to the other man, who gave a nod. "This is Amy," He said as he gestured to the redhead, who also nodded. "And, I'm The Doctor." He stated, as a smile crept across his lips.

"Doctor who?" Rick asked.

"A dangerous question…" The Doctor replied, a small smirk playing on his lips now.

Rick shook his head. "Alright… Now what are you doing here?"

"A slight mix-up, I'm afraid." The Doctor stated, with a sigh.

"And, what the hell is that?" Rick asked, as he gestured towards the TARDIS.

"That, my friend, is called the TARDIS." He replied.

"The what?" Rick replied, as he raised an eyebrow.

"It stands for Time and Relative Dimensions in Space. Basically, it can travel through time." Amy explained.

Rick shook his head, as he lowered his gun. "Either I've gone insane, or this is just a dream. I'm hopin' it's a dream." Rick thought.

The Doctor smiled at him. "And, you are?"

"Rick Grimes." Rick stated, simply.

"Ah, well, it's nice to meet you, Rick!" The Doctor said, cheerfully. "Now, would you mind explaining to us, where we are, and what year it is?"

"You're in a jail courtyard in Atlanta, and it's 2012." Rick explained.

"That's not even remotely close where we're supposed to be…" The Doctor mumbled. "Right then, well, we'll just be off! Thank you for your time, Rick!" The Doctor said, as he gave a wave, and stepped back inside the TARDIS.

Amy and Rory also waved, as they followed him. Soon, the TARDIS wavered, and disappeared.

Rick stared and what was now an open field in disbelief. Then he chuckled lightly, and shook his head.

"There is no way anyone is findin' out about this." He said, as he laughed, and continued his nightly patrol.
