A few short stories about my favorite TV couple, Shamy. I really want to stay true to their relationship on the show, so if you're looking for Shamy coitus, you'll probably want to move along.

"Amy"

Amy was usually pleased when she heard this sound, as it marked the arrival of her boyfriend of three years, Sheldon. However, it was three in the morning so she was less than enthused.

"Sheldon? What is it?" she asked as she opened the door, "do you realize what time it is?"

"I do," he replied, "but… I had a bad dream."

"So you had to come all the way out here?" Her apartment was bit of jaunt from his own.

"Well, it will be another week before Leonard gets back from the North Sea, and Penny is visiting her parents in Nebraska, so I came here."

Even though Amy was irritated with him, he looked so shaken. She felt the need to comfort him. "Come inside. I'll make you some tea."

Amy filled the kettle with water and put it on the stove. Sheldon waited on the couch in the living room.

"Would you like to watch some TV to calm you down? Maybe a movie?" she asked.

"TV at this hour is bound to be nothing but sex crazed men and scantily clad women, and I seriously doubt you would possess any films that I would find the least bit enjoyable."

"I think you'd be surprised," Amy said, almost teasingly, "Take a look."

Sheldon quickly scanned through the film collection on the shelf below Amy's TV.

"You own Star Wars movies?" he said in a tone that was both shocked and amused.

"Just four through six. The prequels are atrocious. I'll admit, the first time I watched I thought they were ridiculous, but I've grown to appreciate their cinematic qualities. Plus, Han Solo is quite the heartthrob."

Sheldon looked at her quizzically, "Well, despite that last comment, I believe I'll pop one of these bad boys in."

Amy brought two mugs of tea over to the couch and sat down next to Sheldon.

"So what was your nightmare about?" she asked him.

"Oh, it was awful. Leonard was out at sea. He was standing on the deck, when suddenly, a group of sirens appeared. Now, sirens, are a class of mermaids known for distracting sailors and causing them to crash into rock and icebergs." He was speaking very anxiously, "the captain got distracted and crashed into a rock and my best friend was gone!" he gasped out the last couple of sentences. He was very upset.

"Sheldon it's okay. Leonard's going to be fine" she assured him, "let's watch the movie."

The movie began and they sat quietly. Sipping tea, watching Star Wars. Gradually, Sheldon's posture softened. It was late, and he was starting to drift off to sleep.

"Amy," he said sleepily.

"Yes?"

"Thank you. You truly are a wonderful girlfriend."

"Thank you, Sheldon." She blushed and tried to suppress a goofy smile. She felt a tingle inside, more of a pang, really. He enamored her. She wanted to tell him. Tell him she needed him. Tell him she loved him. But Amy knew that Sheldon needed an incredibly slow pace when it came to intimacy. Telling Sheldon that she loved him would absolutely terrify him.

As Sheldon drifted off to sleep, he absent-mindedly rested his head on her shoulder. Amy stayed perfectly still. She knew that if she woke him, he would pull away. She loved supporting him physically for once, not just mentally or emotionally. Eventually, she got up slowly. She rested his head on a pillow, tucked him in with a blanket, turned off the movie, and retired t
