A/N: Ok! So this has to be my first Gabe POV fic where he's actually dead since "Whispering" I like him alive! Lol…Anyway some Gabey angst.

You watch carefully as the world around you falls apart. Your family is torn in two. Your house is eerily quiet. You walk around trying to pick up the pieces, but no one will ever notice you.

You see the light on in your father's study. You go to see what he is doing, hoping today will be the day he will notice you. But he is hard at work. He is on the phone with that bastard that you mother calls her doctor. You listen in on their conversation quietly.

You hear your father asking about when it's time to talk about you. He says he doesn't want it to be too soon. He'd rather she forget you and move on. You are about to yell when you hear the doctor say something about how she needs to remember everything. For once you agree with him.

Why won't your father notice you? You want him to remember you and treat you like his son instead of a memory. You hug him tightly and tell him everything's going to be ok.

But he will never see you.

You find your sister in her room. She's with her boyfriend, the one you hate. She's drunk or high or both. You can never tell anymore. You cringe as she kisses him, and he kisses back. She tries to go farther, you see her get unsettlingly close to him. She's grabbing his hands and placing them on her waist, encouraging him to touch her.

"Don't do this, Nat…" you scold, crossing your arms angrily, hoping she would stop before she got herself into trouble.

But she doesn't want him to stop. He looks scared as she places his hands lower down. He tries to tell her to stop, but she keeps on going. You want to just scream and push him off of her. But you don't have to.

He backs away from her, pulling his hands from her grasp. She looks hurt, her eyes filling with tears. He yells at her, telling her that she's going too far. He says that he wants the old her back, he doesn't like the one he has now. You agree with him. For once, you admire this boy. You know that he just wants to help your sister, he doesn't want to see her hurt.

She tells him to leave and, in a few seconds, he does. He quickly kisses her cheek lovingly, but she pushes him away. You step closer to her and put your hand on her shoulder.

You whisper to her, "Why do you do this? Why do you hurt yourself? You know we love you…"

But she will never hear you.

You walk away from her and find your mother, sitting at the kitchen table, rummaging through some old pictures. You go to sit next to her, hopeful that she is still able to see you. You begin to talk to her, telling her about your sister and her horrible problem. But she doesn't hear you.

"Mom, it's Gabe. Please remember me. Please…" you beg her, grabbing onto her hand.

She seems to shudder a little bit, knowing that there is a presence around her. She knows that someone is there with her. You hope that she realizes that it's her son, that it's you.

But she will never remember you.

A/N: AWWW! The ending's so sad…but it's angst, so….
