Bakura stares a the fire he just build. Today is exactly 16 years ago that his life changed for ever.

"Look Mommy look what I fond"! A little white haired boy ran to his mother.

He showed her a red stone. She took the stone from him. "That's beautiful honey, where did you find it." She asked him. "I fond it near Manu's house". She nodded and placed the stone on the wooden behind her. Then the mother off the boy looked out side. The sun was about to set . The sky was filled with a golden glow. "Okay Bakura it's time for bed". Bakura whined. "Will you come tell me a bedtime story?". "Of course I will". He smiled and skipped to his room. He took of his dirty dress and put on his sleeping skirt. He quickly climbed in his bed and waited for his mother. After a couple of minutes she came in with a glass of milk. She gave little Bakura the glass. He immediately drank the milk. "are you ready for your story?". She asked her son. He wiggled and nodded. "Once upon a time there was a brave little boy. He had white hair and purple ey…".Screams came from out side. They could hear a lot off people screaming for help . Suddenly two men came in. "In the name off the Pharaoh". They yelled and grabbed both Bakura and his mother by there hair. Bakura struggled. "Hold still you BRAT!". The guard yanked his hair. Bakura refused to listen to him. He started to kick and hit the guard while he was dragged out off his house. One well placed kick to the groined and the guard let go off Bakura and he started to run. But he was to slow. The guard caught up and once again grabbed poor Bakura by the hair. "YOU BRAT YOUR GOING YOU PAY FOR THAT!" he threw Bakura on the ground. The guard pulled a knife. He licked the knife and then placed on Bakura's face. "This is going to hurt you more than it will hurt me!". He laughed. The burning buildings really accentuated the evil glare in his eyes. The guard pushed the tip off the knife in Bakura's skin. Bakura screamed out in pain. Tears ran down his face. The guard cut a line down his face. Then he cut two horizontal lines across the vertical one. Bakura cried for help. "Scream as loud as you want, nobody is coming to help you!". The guard's evil smile grew bigger and bigger the more Bakura screamed. "Now to do where I came for." He said placing the knife on Bakura's throat. Bakura's eyes widened as he saw a familiar face. His mother. She hit the guard in the head with a brick. He went limb and fell next to Bakura. "Mommy!". He yelled in pain. His mother pulled him up. She got down to his level. " Bakura listen to me , as soon as you get up you start running and don't look back okay?". He nodded and they both got up. She gave her son a kiss before he started running. Bakura ran as hard as he could. "YOU'LL PAY FOR THAT YOU BITCH!" Bakura stopped. He remembered what his mom said but he could help but look back. He sees how the guard slashed his mothers throat. The guard looked at the dead body for a second, then he looked at Bakura. He smiled evilly and licked the blood off the knife. Bakura turns around and starts running towards the dessert.

In the dessert Bakura remembers what the guards said. "In the name of the Pharaoh". He mumbled over and over again.

"You will pay Pharaoh, that I promise you." He said as he whipped away a tear.

The End.
