Chamber of Secrets Revealed

By PERCY WEASLEY

Yesterday in the afternoon, our trouble at Hogwarts grew to its height and ended. It started with the Weasley's youngest child, who was taken into the heart of the chamber itself. We asked Harry Potter himself what happened, as Ginny was unconscious most of the time. After Harry figured out, in the chamber, that a sweet, innocent-looking, Slytherin prefect name Tom Marvolo Riddle was You-Know-Who; he started to really get angry with him. Then, Tom let out the Basilisk from the mouth of a statue of Salazar Slytherin. Harry had to shade his eyes from the serpents until Fawkes, Professor Dumbledore's pet Phoenix, attacked it's eyes, leaving it blind. This helped Harry, but not that much, as it could still smell and hear him. So he rammed the Sorting Hat, the Fawkes had brought him earlier on, onto his head. Out came a sword, the sword of Gryffindor. Harry used this sword and when the time was right, he thrust it up into the roof of the Basilisk's mouth, but as he did this a venomous fang plunged into Harry's arm. After the Basilisk keeled over, Harry slowly moved to Tom and Ginny. Harry was getting so mad at Tom's snide remarks about him dying that he took the fang that he pulled out of his arm, and plunged it into the diary, the very diary that started all the havoc at Hogwarts.
