You wrap me in your arms
With your warm embrace I am saved
My scars can only be healed by your careful words
When I'm with you my world is at peace
My worries all cease to exist
I could be beaten down to almost dead
My heart can be crushed in to fine powder
I could be stabbed with words of putrid hatred
But as long as you are near
As long as you are here
I will live on
My purpose is defined by your very being
You are my angel
My saving grace
As I caress your pale face
Your emerald green eyes smile into my deep blue
You do not laugh when I cry
You share my pain
I tell you about my demons
The monsters that plague my every day
You always promise me that you will stay
And I believe you
i believe your words
for, you tell me no lies
your kiss leaves my heart flying
it fills my heart when you say with so much passion
that you love me
and, you want to know the truth
when I have realized that I can't live without you
