The gods had a plan. While Annabeth was working on Olympus, they planned to show Camp Halfblood her future, with hopes to make Perseus Jackson regret his decision to stay mortal. Aphrodite had told them the real reason why he had rejected their offer, and it wasn't because he wanted to "finish high school". The Olympians fumed at being so… so puny, turned on with the wave of a hand, as if being a mortal was somehow… better.

Annabeth had a secret. Only the Olympians, and some girls from a sleepover only knew. Not even Percy knew. She had been writing songs since she was twelve, but before she met Percy. She just spilled everything into a song, and matched lyrics to a beat. As time progressed, she became a more complex songwriter. Her biggest fan was Silena. Little did any mortal know, that she was going to become a world-famous star.

Silena is the biggest fan of the soon-famous Annabeth Chase. She forced Annabeth to send her any new ideas for songs, and albums. She just knew she had something special. Annabeth could play any instrument, sing any song, write any genre, whether it was pop, country, rock, soul, you named it, she could write it. If only she knew what was about to happen next.

Percy knew he angered the gods. To be honest, though, he didn't really care. It was either them, or losing Annabeth. And he knew… he wouldn't ever to be able to live like that. Or watching her grow up, fall in love, get married, have children with some mortal… he just wouldn't be able to handle it. He knew he didn't stand a chance to win her heart but… at least he could try. She was just so… perfect. He had decided that it should be a crime to be that beautiful, and smart, and- there he was again. Ever since after the war, every girl had been chasing after him. Well, except Annabeth. She had so many guy chasing after her, it made his face hot with a fierce jealousy. She had been redesigning Olympus for a while, and practically lived there causing her wonder about her- alot. His mind kept wandering back to that promised kiss that he had somehow never got. They'd kissed before- once. It wasn't even a kiss, he grumbled. All he had gotten was a friendly peck last summer. He wondered what a real one would feel like. Oh gods, he needed to stop thinking like this.
