No Telling
"Gibbs?" Kate's plea hangs in the air.
Gibbs smile vanishes as he turns to his coworkers. "Go home."
They watch as he starts to walk away but Kate is right behind him after having grabbed her bag. "Come on Gibbs. Tell them." She looks back over towards Tony and Abby. "Gibbs!" She does not like that Abby still has a huge smile on her face.
It's a warning now but he ignores it as he gets in the elevator knowing she will follow.
She is not going to let him get away. Not like this. Not now.
The door closes and he looks at her while smirking again.
She watches him. "You are enjoying this aren't you?"
"I am." He hit's the emergency switch and turns towards her. "Would you rather I had told them the truth?"
"You could have made something up." She throws a hand in the air while looking away.
He closes in on her. "Did it really make you jealous when I was talking to Melissa Dorn?"
She fakes a laugh as she feels his breath on her cheek. "Flirted, flirted with Melissa Dorn."
"Well, did it?" He presses on as he gets even closer.
She still won't look at him. "Heck yes."
He feels relieved. About time the shoe was on the other foot. "Good."
She shakes her head. "Well you did always like the red heads."
He grabs her shoulders gently and turns her around to face him. "Kate, I have not been interested in red head's for a long time now."
She sees him and knows he is telling the truth.
"How can I with such a gorgeous brunette in my life?" He winks at her and is rewarded with a smile.
His lips on hers always taste so sweet. It's quick but as always filled with love, lust and everything between.
"You still have to come up with something to explain how you know about my tattoo." She leans in to him as one of his arms sneaks around her waist.
He hits the emergency switch once again while smiling. "Not yet. Let them wonder about that a little longer."
