Chapter 1
Seraphina's POV
i looked out the window of the manor. The trees were all moving in the wind. I don't ever remember having a storm like this happen. Thunder rumbled in the sky after the lightning lit it up.
The door opened. I looked at the door to see five year old Scorpius standing there. His light hair was tousled and his blue grey eyes were wide with fear.
"Sissy i scawred." A tear fell down his cheek. I smiled softly at him and scooted over in the bed. He was confused and looked at me with a raised eyebrow. I patted the bed next to me and he got it.
"Why haven't I met mommy and daddy?" He asked the one question i have feared since he was a baby.
What do i say. i can't say, "mommy died giving birth to you and daddy killed himself because of that and you and i live in the Malfoy Manor pretty much alone because Grandma is always getting wasted in the bar." That is too much for a five year old. "Mommy and daddy left." I managed to choke out.
He seemed to have have a question coming, "are they coming back?"
I wished with every piece of hope they could. i was only eleven when they died.
It was halfway through the school year. "No Score, they aren't coming back." It hurt to say it.
"Why?" A tear fell down my cheek.
"Go to bed buddy its late." I rested my head on my pillow and felt him curl up and cuddle into me.
Jame's POV
Dad has been freaking out about the weather. Which I don't understand because it is weather not some mission that he had to go on. He has locked himself in his office and only let adults in.
I am an adult! I will be seventeen in two months exactly. On July 21 2022.
