Chapter One

Fuck...

"She's so curious," Riku muses as he watched the little blonde girl in front of him dig through the bottom of her locker.

"Either that or she lost her math book," Sora says, not finding it all that curious to look through your own locker.

Riku rolls his eyes, "I'm not talking about now, stupid. In English today we were dicussing that stupid book, and she had, like, ten million questions on it."

"That's not uncommon, dude. She probably didn't read it."

Feeling like slapping his best friend, Riku turns away from the girl. "You're so mental, Sora. Do you not notice that she's always reading?"

"I don't know, I'm not the one stalking her," the brunette bites, glowering at his friend.

"I'm not stalking her! I just think she's cute, is all," he says, staring back over his shoulder at her in a sort of trance.

Sora resists the urge to backhand Riku and starts to walk down the hall.

"Wait!" Riku yelps, running to catch up with him. "Where're you going?!"

"Home?" Sora replies to Riku's extremely stupid question.

"But... But..."

The seventeen year old sighs. "Look, dude, if you wanna stay here and stalk her, more power to you, but I have a huge AP Gov project to do, and I need to go home."

"I'm not stalking--"

"Riku, right?"

The silver haired senior turns at the mention of his name. Facing the short blonde girl he was just talking about, he gulps. "Uhm, yeah. And you're ...Alice, correct?"

"Yeah. Hey, you're in my English class, aren't you?"

Nodding, he shifts his weight from one foot to the other, while behind him, Sora walks away.

"D...Did you need something?"

She shakes her head slowly, wondering slightly what's wrong with the man standing before her awkwardly. "No, not necessarily. Just wanted to say hi. So I did. See you tomorrow?"

Stuttering massively, he chokes out a, "Sure. Yeah. Bye."

What the fuck is wrong with me?
