Rainbow Dash is Back

"Girls, rainbow dash is almost here, get ready!" Applejack called to her friends. They were throwing a huge party for their blue pegasus friend, who had just spent a year on tour with the wonderbolts. The letters rainbow dash has been sending home had mostly been to applejack, with each note, the blonde earth pony had been falling more and more in love without realizing it. The feelings were some kind of pressure on her chest, not painful, but almost like her heart was speeding up each time rainbow dash sent her a message about what city she had performed in or new moves that she couldn't wait to show off when she returned to ponyville.
Rainbow dash's feelings were usually ignored with all the pressure that comes with flying with the wonderbolts, but this time was different, she could not shake her feelings towards her friend. Rainbow dash finally admitted it to herself, 'I love applejack!' Rainbow dash's crush on her friend drove her insane over the year she was away from applejack.

It has been amazing working with the wonderbolts. Things are going great with our performances, i only wish you were here with me. The tour is almost over, and when i get back home, i'll be home for good.

I can't wait for you to get back, it has been forever. Things here in ponyville have been awful quiet without you. We all miss ya, but i wish you were here mire than any of the others.

They would write to each other several times a week, applejack always up to date on the wonderbolt's shows, and rainbow dash kept updated on ponyville's events. Applejack really did miss her friend more than any of the other ponies, and rainbow dash missed applejack more than she missed anypony else she left in ponyville.
Rainbow dash got off the train, she stood on the platform for a moment, looking out at the small town she had come to call home. Her latest letter from applejack said to go to the barn, first thing when she returned. The pegasus pulled her bags onto her back and trotted towards sweet apple acres.
"Is it ready yet?" Applejack asked twilight.
"Yup, everything we need for rainbow dash's homecoming party is here except for rainbow dash." Twilight responded, checking over her check-list fir what seemed to be the tenth time. Rainbow dash approached the barn, then slowly opened the large door.
"SURPRISE!" Almost every pony in town was there to welcome rainbow dash. Rainbow dash looked around at the party, which, by the looks if it, was pinky's handy work.
"DASHIE! AH MISSED YA!" Applejack ran up to her friend and, without realizing it, gave rainbow dash a big kiss, right on the lips. As soon as she saw what she was doing, applejack pushed herself away. Applejack started to blush. "Ah meant, uh..."
Applejack was cut off by a long, sweet kiss from rainbow dash. "I missed you too applejack."
