A Proposal to Remember

Summary:
Christmas Morning L/L R/J little do the girls know that the boys are planning something special. Set sometime after the series finale.
It has been an eventful year. Luke and Lorelai bought a new bigger house in Stars Hollow. Rory had been busy with work on the campaign trail and when the Obama was in Philadelphia, her and Jess got back together. Rory and Jess moved into a nice apartment in New York and are both journalists for the New York Times. Rory and Jess are staying in one of the guest rooms in Luke and Lorelai's house.
On with the story:

It's very early Christmas morning and the only ones up are Luke and Jess getting ready for the morning surprise Christmas presents for the girls. They want to make sure everything is perfect. They set up the table inside that Luke is going to cook. When they are done they sit on the couch to rest before it is time to wake the girls. They are both thinking about what is to come.
"Are you scared that they will say no. I mean I know Rory loves me but I don't know if she is ready for a big commitment yet."
"Don't worry about it. I was a little scared but then Sookie told me that they have mentioned it several times."
"Oh good. I feel better knowing that."
"I don't think we have anything to worry about."
Just before the sun comes up the guys go to wake the girls up.
*LL's room*
"Lorelai, time to wake up Merry Christmas." as he sits on the bed touches her arm.
"Christmas, oh has Santa been here?"
"Yes"
They get up and walk down the stairs hand in hand and over to jess sitting on the couch with Rory."
They all walk out onto the back porch after bundling up because it's really cold outside. They walk out and lorelai and Rory automatically notice the beautiful sunrise that they rarely see because they wake up late. While they are staring at the sky across the yard, jess turns on some soft romantic music. As they get ready to give lorelai and Rory one of their presents it starts to snow and lorelai and Rory. Luke and Jess move in front of the girls and take their hands.
"Lorelai"
"Rory"
Both kneel on one knee at the same time. Each of the girls gasp look at each other than back into the eyes of Luke and jess.
"I love you very much. [Take out the rings from their pockets] Lorelai Gilmore will you marry me" They both say at the same time as they show them the rings.
"Yes!" They say at the same time
They each get up and hug their fiancé. They were both speechless as they admired their rings.
"Well…" Luke broke the silence
"Yea… was this a proposal to remember?
"It was perfect" Rory said
"Yea, it was, the beautiful snowy morning watching the sunset made it so perfect.
They both took their fiancés hands. Pulling them back inside exclaiming that they need coffee.
