A/N: Yay, my first published poem~!

So, the story behind this:

Before I got into Hetalia, I was writing a random poem. I don't know why. Well, it turned into this. A few months later, (a week or so ago) I found it on my computer and read it. I thought to myself, "Itacest, anyone?" It really does seem like it would be a romance thing from Lovino's POV to Feliciano. So that's what it is.

I read it to one friend and she said it was good. Then I read it to my best friend and she laughed. T.T But I'm putting it up here nonetheless~!

To my readers of Pittsburghese: I'm working on Minnesota right now, it may take a while. I might have it tomorrow or some time later tonight, but I'm super busy this weekend, and weekends are the only time I have internet access, and I need the internet to look up the accents and upload them as well. Just bear with me. And if anyone wants to know, Honey's American Girl is still on its long hiatus. I might take it down and completely redo it. I dunno. Anyway, this isn't about them, so here it is. From Lovi to Feli.

Disclaimer: I don't own APH or its various nouns, but the poem's totally mine. I might publish it since it originally had nothing to do with any copywrighted material.

Also, the title I got off Google Translate. It's supposed to mean My Brother, My Love, but I don't know Italian so I'm probably wrong. Damn you, Google. Please correct me if I'm wrong and I'll fix it at my earliest convenience. :)

I am the ocean
Vast and calm
Short-tempered
Silent, loving
Loud, deadly

You are the moon
Bright, adoring
Dark, cold
Independent, controlling
Needy, fearful

I am the raging tides
Angry, quick
I kill and destroy
And it's all for you

You are the orb of the night
Beautiful and silent
You make me act
You make me happy
Or sad, or angry

You make me feel
You make me numb
Shock the pain away
Make me calm, beautiful
Bring it back full-force
Make me a raging wave of death

I fear the lunar eclipse
I love the full moon
In eclipse, you are absent
And I am still
For I am mourning
The loss of your presence

You are the sun
Bright orb of the day
Whereas I am a star
Small pinprick in the night sky
You light up half the world
I keep a sleeping traveler up

You are vast and useful
A large flame
I am so small and far away
You manipulate me
I do for you

Tell me what to do
I will do it all for you
Tell me how to feel
I swear to you I will
I will do anything for you
Kill, maim, destroy
Love, act, smile
Cry, laugh, yell
Scream into the night
Feel joy at the coming sun

I am darkness
You are light
I am south
And you are north

We are so different
Moon and tide
Sun and star
Light and dark
North and south

We are the same
We feel, we love
We are numb, we hate
The fine line between us
Finer than betwixt two enemies
Between love and hate
Two halves of a whole
That was broken into three

We coexist as two should
And as two should not
So contradictory,
So agreeable
Why is that hard?
Why is it easy?
Why does it make no sense?
Why does it make
All the sense in the world?

Do you love me?
Me, the angry tide?
Me, the tiny stars?
Me, the distant south?
Me, the suffocating dark?

I love you
You, the changeling moon
You, the bright sun
You, the cheerful north
You, the blinding light

Apart, what are we?
Beings, nothing more.
Together, what are we?
Everything. And more.
