A/N: Just experimenting since I found the game really great and all, so I may continue this if anyone finds this interesting. Please enjoy and give some advice if you see anything of the matter with this.
The more she coughed the more the blood splattered onto the grass.
That last spider really got her as it jumped onto her chest in some surprise move and dug its teeth into Patricia's chest almost ripping her apart if not hacking it with her axe she'd constructed on that same day. What she needed was a miracle to survive this place she'd been in only five days, yet it felt longer and even more dangerous by the minute. Creatures lurking and the shadows were not only the dangers that complicated her survival as food was becoming scarce from the lack of foraging. Reaching to one of her pockets, thankfully, she found spider's silk that she fashioned as a gauze to help her bloody wound. "I'll find you Maxwell...," she thought darkly as she pressed the silk against the bite and sat closer to her campfire that created a better form of warmth then her jacket that was now tattered and had numerous stains. From the first day she was dumped into this island she remembered hearing and partially seeing the smug demon standing above her with his cigarette firmly between his lips and his eyes staring down at he left he had said in a mocking tone, "Survive and don't starve," as he materialized away into a puff of smoke that held such a horrible tobacco scent to it. Patricia pulled down her shirt as she finished attending to the bite and sighed wearingly from the lack of sleep she'd suffered almost every night. Suddenly, the rustle of movement gave Patricia's attention to a bush and her hand slowly grasped the handle of her axe that had spider entrails still stuck onto the blade. Awaiting the ambush of the intruder proved to be an innocent crow who cawed at her before flying off into the night without looking back. The young woman's body was still shaking as she fell back and let herself lay onto the soft grass for a moment.
Then her stomach growled in hunger as she'd not eaten for hours now.
