"Miss Sta-mee's class, come to aw-daw!" Dogwood Sapling banged her black hoof on the table, her purple eyes reflecting extreme annoyance.

The class went quiet for a second, looking up at the accented teachers pet. Silken Sun actually stood up on her desk and shouted, "What 'ya gonna do 'bout it, DOGWAWD SAWPLANG?"

Muted titters came throughout the class. Feather Dust lurched her little grey body into the air, flapping her wings hard to get her too-small body onto the desk. "Yeah, Doggy Sap!" Encouraged by the muted laughter throughout the class, she continued, "You're not just a teacher's pet- you're her MAWD-WASHED-DRAWGON!"

The whole class had an inside joke about the teacher's niece's accent. It wasn't even an accent... she just had a problem with speech, always had. Not all people were popular bullies. That was just Silken Sun- who had gotten her cutie mark almost immediately- Feather Dust, who was a powerful poet who was born a runt, Pink Kiss, who was popular because of her alicorn-ness, and Sun Ray, who was already good at flying.

There were the outcasts, of course- Static Burst(more commonly known as 'The Ditz' with mental problems), Seamless, and Tranquilent. Seamless was Silken Sun's immature sister who didn't make friends easily, and Tranquilent was a selective mute ever since her best friend, Blue Harbor, had moved to Manehatten.

Electro the Unicorn, with very powerful unicorn powers, had had enough. "Stop messin' with her!" she shouted, sending a heavy book thunking into Silken Sun's chest. Her yellow form trembled with anger.

Just then, Miss Stormy trotted in,her grey eyes widening at the sight of the chaos in the room. "What's wrong, Dogwood Sapling?" Her gaze surveyed around the class, her gaze setting upon Electro and Feather Dust. "Why are you on a chair?" she asked to the ponies, flying quickly past the desk the runt was perched on. "Silken Sun, whatever is wrong!" Her voice took on a panicked edge as she saw how Silken was trembling on the floor, whimpering pitifully.

"Electro lost her itty-bitty temper and sent the dictionary at Silky's face," Feather Dust sneered, landing light on her white hooves and tossing her pink, black, and purple mane behind her face, turning her muted green eyes onto the teacher.

Electro bristled, objects glowing red with magic and flowing into the air. "They were teasin' Dogwood Saplin' 'cause of her voice problem! She ain't got hardly none!" Electro came from an orchard, and she had picked up the country talk of them. She spent most of her time away from the farm, though.

Dogwood Sapling sat up, tears glimmering in her eyes. "Put down the stuff," she mumbled to Electro, which she did. She turned to Miss Stormy. "Miss Staw-mee, please don't punish Eel-ec-twoe. She was just tay-in to help and lost ha temp-aw." Her violet eyes got huge as she stared at her aunt.

Miss Stormy just looked away from her. "Electro, Feather Dust, Silken Sun, detention. Silken, go to Nurse 'Stethscope to get the ribs checked out."

Silken looked up, her own eyes pleading. "Please, no, it hurts to moooOOOve!"

The teacher stared at her. "Go. Now."

She began to go, reluctantly, without a single wince.

"And don't forget! Detention."
