A Change Of Heart
Summary: Chad hears Sonny crying after her and the other casts of So Random break apart. He decided to comfort her.

Chad stopped at Sonny and Tawni's dressing room door. He was about to go in and brag to Sonny about his date that he had that night. He rested his ear against the door and gasped quietly to himself as he heard muffling sounds coming from Sonny. He could hear her sobbing quietly to herself. He raised his hand to knock on the door but he paused for minute. He knew Sonny would just telling him to leave the minute he knocked. So he decided to open the door quietly to be able to peak his head into the room.
He frowned slightly when he saw Sonny curled up into a ball on the couch. He could visibly see Sonny's shoulders shaking. He winced and frowned deeply when Sonny gave a loud sob. He hadn't seen Sonny cry since she thought that Gassie was dead. He was there for her when she needed him then. He walked closer to the couch and sat down next to Sonny.
Sonny looked up when Chad had sat down next to her. She quickly tried to wipe her tears on the back of her hand but Chad reacted quick and grabbed her hand gently.
"C..Chad. W-What are you..doing here?" Sonny asked quietly as she sniffled and hiccuped. Chad scooted closer to her and wrapped his arm around her shoulders and pulled her closer to him.
Sonny stared into the blue eyes that were usually full of hatred and sarcasm. She was surprised to see some emotion in them. She felt more tears start forming in her eyes. She rested her head on Chad's chest as she cried into his shirt.
Chad wrapped both arms around her as he let her cry onto his shoulder. He wanted to be here for Sonny because she was obviously in a mess and she needed him.
Chad suddenly felt this new wave of emotion inside him. He felt the sudden urge to care for Sonny. Ever since Sonny arrived to the So Random cast he had a tiny crush on her but he never showed his emotions around her because he was Chad Dylan Cooper who only cared for nothing but himself. But ever since he first saw Sonny cry his emotions changed into something deeper.
Was..Was this love?Chad held Sonny tighter at the thought that he might actually be in 'love' with Sonny.
He heard Sonny sniffle quietly and snuggled closer into his chest. He looked down to see Sonny's eyes were closed. He frowned again when he saw the stained tear tracks on her beautiful cheeks. He brought his thumb to the corner of her eye and wiped the last tear that was going to escape. He placed a soft kiss on Sonny's forehead and layed her down gently onto the couch. He raked his hand through Sonny's hair and gave her a small smile.
"I love you Sonny." He whispered. He kissed her forehead once more and walked quietly out of the room without waking Sonny from her nap.
