Promised as a picnic

Fluttershy flew swiftly along the crowded streets of pony ville, A small basket weaved by Rarity in her mouth. Angel bunny jumping around on her back excited. Once a patch opened up, Fluttershy softly landed on the tickling grass. She trotted carefully around the ponies coming up in her direction. She stopped briefly to smell the gorgeous flowers in Rose's shop.

"Oh, my." Fluttershy turned to the smiling Rose. "These flowers are amazing in this time of bloom!" Fluttershy complimented then shared a shy smile toward the happy sales pony. She continued trotting along the dirt road, head in the clouds, and bumped into some pony. "Oh! Im so sorry!" She squealed. The purple pony paid the pony behind the cherry stand and turned to greet the nervous pony behind her.

" Accidents happen, Fluttershy." Twilight smiled with a silly grin upon her face. Fluttershy's eyes grew wide in amazement.

"Twilight?" She whispered with a hint of worry in her voice "What are you doing out of your castle now?" Twilight smiled, touched by her friends concern. She wrapped her left wing around Fluttershy.

" I don't need to stay cooped up in my castle, reading every book in my library just because i am a princess. Her tone flat and obvious. "Put the wings down and crown away and i don't get noticed much anymore!" The smile crept its way back on Fluttershy's face. The question turned to Fluttershy. "Where are you going, Fluttershy?" Twilight tilted her head slightly to the side. Fluttershy set her basket on the ground and angel hopped on top the basket.

" I left Angel with Scootaloo, Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle for the day, so to say sorry for leaving him I promised him a picnic." Fluttershy explained. Twilight turned her gaze to the frustrated bunny, who was stomping his foot impatiently and pointing at the clock tower.

"Okay". Twilight remarked slowly. "Well, have fun! When you finish, come down to my castle! Pinkie is throwing a party for the six of us!" Twilight secured her saddle bag and trotted down the road.

"Alright Angel, sorry for the stops, lets go now." She picked up her basket and continued flying through pony Ville. As she flew further, Fluttershy noticed a variety of different ponies everywhere, all new to pony Ville. Fluttershy suppressed a small, cute, giggle, knowing how Pinkie would react when she found out. Fluttershy landed on the perfect, grassy hill, complete with a flower bed of daisies and flowing, fresh water spring. Fluttershy dropped the basket and opened the top with her muzzle. Her large, aqua eyes swept over Angel. Lifting her head, Fluttershy asked the small bunny. "Oh, is something wrong Angel?" The little bunny had his arms crossed, his eyes narrowed, and his whiskers twitched with anger. Fluttershy, confused at her bunny, closed the basket again with her hoof. "Is this not good enough place to stay, Angel?" The little bunny's eyes glistened with happiness and pointed to a dark loom of forest across the valley. Fluttershy consontrated on it for only seconds before she picked up her basket and flew to where Angel wanted. After a couple minutes of flying, Fluttershy stood on a cracked dirt floor base of the entrance to a forest of danger. "Oh, Angel, we simply can go in there. You know what forest this is right?" A look of fear and something else crossed upon her face. Angel gave a small, devilish grin, than ran of into the forest. "Angel Bunny NO!" Fluttershy cried. Without a thought, Fluttershy threw her basket on the grass, it's contents flying askew, and darted after her sweet Angel bunny into the Everfree forest.
