I was playing this sweet kit with a new group. I got this talent agent, Watto, who is a shrewd negotiator and a real "slave driver." He booked me to play Chalmun's Cantina in the spaceport of Mos Eisley, on Tatooine. But, there was a commotion: an unidentified Jedi Master removed an Aqualish Ponda Baba's arm with his light saber. Then there was a blaster shootout; some bounty hunter named Greedo was murdered, (but I'm told it was self-defense) and Chalmun's Cantina was firebombed shortly after the death of Jabba the Hutt, (but it remained open five years after the Battle of Endor).
So, I joined the Dark Side's Galactic Empire Death Star Tour (I figured "Dark Side" was a death metal band) with a short stop off at Alderaan. However, that gig was cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances… I didn't get payed. Then the campaign (that's what the Big Guy In Black called it) was cut short due to vehicular troubles and my drums were lost or destroyed (something about Rebel terrorism, I hear). Now Watto says there's an opening on Kamino. The crowd is mostly clones and the Kamioans tend to keep to themselves or somewhere in the Degobah system… but I hear that place is a swamp. I want to get back to civilization in the galactic core, like Coruscant, but the government powers keep changing.
Until then I guess I'll play on this small blue planet in the Terran system called Earth. Simple-minded creatures, but they seem to like my drumming and pay more than Watto or the Dark side.
