Second Narnia Fic! I thought of this one when I was reading The silver chair. Please enjoy!
"Sir," Caspian began, and then hesitated. "I've always wanted to just see a glimpse of their world. Is that wrong?"
"You cannot want wrong things anymore, now you're dead my son." Said Aslan. "And you shall see their world but only for five minutes of their time. It will take no longer for you to set things right there."
Caspian drifted out of the conversation when Aslan said these words. "Set things right there." What did Aslan mean by those words?
By the time Aslan had finished explaining what to do to Jill and Eustace they were gone from Narnia and into the world of the Pevensie Siblings. When Caspian looked around he realised what Aslan had meant when he had said "set things right there." There sat in a chair staring into space was Lucy Pevensie!
"Lucy!" He said in shock and hoped that she could not hear otherwise he would have to say he died.
"Caspian?!" She yelled mirroring his expression. Darn! she can hear me, I need to tell her the truth.
"Lucy, I can explain... I think." He said thinking this was all a dream and he wasn't really dead. But then the reality hit him again he was dead! "I only have about five minutes."
Lucy's expression went blank; Caspian could see the tears welling up in her eyes. "Caspian, you can't be here." Lucy said slowly trying to work things out.
"But I am, Lu. I honestly am." He said reaching out a hand.
Lucy took the extended hand. "You're really here, aren't you?" She asked.
Caspian nodded and suddenly realised they had about three minutes.
"Lucy, I have three minutes before I have to go to Aslan's country."
Then it dawned on Lucy, "Aslan's Country? Caspian!" Lucy yelled furious that he didn't tell her. "You died?" She said calming down after a minute, "how?"
"Old age," he sighed thinking about seeing his mum and dad again.
"Are you happy Caspian?" Lucy asked rather suddenly. "I mean to see them again? Everyone you lost."
"Yes, I am, I know it was my time to go. I am at peace." He answered and knew it was time to say what he knew he was here to say. "Lucy, I-I"
"Caspian, what is it?" She asked tilting her head to the side.
"Lucy, I love you. I don't why I didn't say it before."
Lucy smiled and sighed. "We were young Caspian; we didn't even know what it meant. We've both grown since we last met and all I can say is: I love you too."
Caspian laughed and leant down and pressed his lips to hers briefly and then they both sensed Aslan with them. "Aslan," Lucy said with a smile.
"Lucy." He replied his eyes lighting up at the sight of her. Lucy looked at Caspian then back at Aslan, she let go of Caspian's hand and ran to Aslan and hugged his mane. Aslan laughed and hugged her back with his paw.
"Come, my son. We need to go." Aslan said and sounded regretful.
"I know," Caspian said with a smile.
"Goodbye Caspian." She said kissing him one last time. When she opened her eyes it was only Aslan and her in her room.
"Hello Aslan. You look older."
"Because you have gotten older as well, dear one." Aslan replied.
"I know I remember; I need to know something."
"Anything, Lucy, what do you need?"
"Will I ever see you all again, you said I was never to return to Narnia." Lucy asked.
"Yes, one day. That is all I can say." Aslan said and Lucy smiled.
"Thank you, Aslan for being honest."
Once Aslan had left Lucy smiled and went everyday like this hadn't happened until the day came when she would be reunited with them all and Caspian.
