Rima and Aidou! Another part of the confessions series I'm doing.

Rima giggled and fell off her chair and into Aidou's arms.
"Rima… Are you drunk?" asked Aidou when he caught Rima.
"No silly. Remember vampires can't get drunk." said Rima tugging on Aidou's hair.
"Remember Rima, vampires can get drunk off certain types of blood. What have you been drinking all night?" asked Aidou lifting Rima to her feet.
"Something that Kain brought. He said he got it from work." said Rima clinging to Aidou when he went to move away.
Aidou grabbed the glass from Rima's hand and sniffed the contents. His eyes widened when he realized it was level E vampire blood.
"Rima how much of this have you drank?" asked Aidou as he picked Rima up and walked to the kitchen to dump the contents of the glass down the sink.
"Only about two cups. Why?" asked Rima.
"Because what you just drank is going to kill you in, roughly, two hours." said Aidou, locating the blood that Kain had brought and dumped it down the sink as well.
"Wait… What?" said Rima, sobering up immediately.
"You just drank blood that once belonged to a level E vampire." said Aidou, standing Rima on her feet. "Unless you can quickly get it out of your system, it will kill you. If you don't get it out of your system you will become a level E and the vampire hunters will kill you."
Rima turned sickly pale and her hand flew to her mouth. She ran to the sink and started emptying her stomach contents into it, just barely making it in time.
"Either you're so drunk that you're throwing up or you're utterly terrified and your first reaction was to throw up." said Aidou pulling Rima's hair back away from her face.
"Both." said Rima between dry heaves, still a sickly pale color.
"Well… It seems like you've gotten most of it out of your system. Go lay down so I can break the news to everyone else." said Aidou, helping Rima to the couch and covering her up when she laid down.
"Okay." said Rima curling up and getting comfortable.
A half an hour later Aidou came back and sat next to Rima. Rima sat up and laid her head on Aidou's shoulder.
"Now… What have you learned today?" asked Aidou.
"Never drink anything Kain brings home from work." said Rima.
"Good girl." said Aidou.
"And one more thing." said Rima, quietly. "Well… It's more of a question than anything."
"Go ahead. Ask it." said Aidou, playing with Rima's hair.
"Do you like me? I-I'm just wondering… Because… I kind of sort of like you…" said Rima, trailing off.
Aidou smiled and leaned toward Rima, pressing his lips to her cheek.
"Yes… I like you too." said Aidou. "Strangely I do."
"Really?" said Rima, looking up at Aidou, surprised. "You're serious?"
"Really. I'm dead serious." said Aidou.
"How can you be dead serious? You're not dead." said Rima.
"Smart ass." said Aidou.
"Love you." said Rima.
"Love you too." said Aidou.
That's the end if that one.
Yuck, still grounded.
