Flowers InoHina Oneshot

Ding-dong!

"Hello, welcome to the Yamanaka Flower – oh, hey, Hinata."

"Hello…"

"What's up?"

"I—I would like to buy some fl-flowers, please."

"Okay, who's it for?"

"Oh…um, a blonde…"

"Oh, okay. Teehee, anyone I know?"

"Y-yes. You're really close with them."

"Really? Heh, well, I'm absolutely sure he'll love them."

"I hope so…"

"So what's the occasion?"

"I—I don't…quite understand what you mean?"

"What feelings are in the gift? Love? Sorrow? Happiness? Hope? Luck?"

"L-love and devotion. I have…romantic intentions…"

"You'll need a bouquet of either alstroemeria – to show that your bond with him is strong; irises – means you're complimenting the person; orchids – long lasting impression; peony – means "I love you," awh; roses – never ending love and passion; yellow chrysanthemum – secret admirer; pansies – loving thoughts; passion flowers – which obviously mean passion; and there's also –"

"Um, Ino?"

"Yes?"

"Can I have a peony please?"

"Sure, how many?"

"Just one."

"Ooh, a single peony? That's so romantic."

"T-thanks."

"No problem. Here you go."

"Thank you, Ino."

"You're welcome, Hinata. I'm sure whoever gets the flower will love it."

"I hope so. Bye."

"Bye, see ya later."

—The next day—

"Huh? What's this?"

Ino picked up the single peony flower and inspected it. the flower came with a small card. She picked that up and read it aloud, peony in hand.

"Ino," she read, "this is for you, love… Awh."

The blonde smiled and held the flower close to her heart. Eyes closed, she whispered, "I love you, too, Hinata."
