Popplio's Performance
Bubbles were scattered all across the stage in a giant circle. A blue seal jumped and did a flip, landing on a bubble, then jumped off. More flips. As he flipped off each bubble, the bubble would pop. When all the bubbles popped, he bowed, then prepared his next trick. The crowd around me seemed interested, and anticipated the seal's next trick.
I was here because I had heard of the seal. The seal's name was Popplio, and he had been waiting for me. At first, I didn't know why. I then realized that maybe he knew me. I still don't know…
Suddenly, I noticed the curtain had opened, and Popplio and another pokemon, Pikachu, had come onstage. "Attention, everyone! For this next act, Popplio here will need a volunteer!" Almost everybody shot their hands up. Popplio had an idea. He pointed to me. "Lio!" Popplio said. "That one? Okay…You! Young lady, it's your lucky day!" I couldn't believe my luck. I stood up and walked onstage. The lights dimmed, and everything grew silent around me. Pikachu had walked away, so it was only me and Popplio on that stage. To my surprise, a light shone on us, and Popplio started to blow a bubble out of his nose. I stayed still..but then I was engulfed into the giant bubble. Blue stars suddenly swirled around me as I sat in there. I started to feel smaller as the stars spun more rapidly. I suddenly noticed my legs fusing and merging, into what looked like a seal's tail. I could feel my nose and mouth fusing into a cone like shape, my new pink ball-like nose rested on the edge of my new white muzzle. My skin started to turn blue, and my fingers were fusing together to form flippers. My ears became floppy and short. My neck grew a light blue like ruffled collar. As the transformation finished, I suddenly knew what I was: Popplio. The bubble popped, and I looked at the other seal. We both nodded and knew what to do. Popplio blew bubbles, and they floated like stairs. I jumped on each, hopping and timing my jumps as I went. Popplio did the same thing, and a pool opened beneath us. We flipped into the pool, splashing and amazing the audience with our tricks and display. One of Popplio's tricks was juggling bubble balloons. He can go up to twelve! However, we both knew our show had to come to a close. Popplio blew another bubble, and I was engulfed, again. Popplio held the bubble onto his nose. Popplio tossed the bubble into the air, and went underwater, a podium raising him upwards. When he caught the bubble using his nose, it popped, revealing myself, as a human, standing on Popplio's nose. I jumped down and we bowed. The crowd roared as our show finally came to a conclusion. The curtains closed, ending yet another great performance of Popplio.
