How They Met
It was about 7:00 PM in ChinaTown. The air was cool and tasted a bit saltly, being by the ware house district. Sue Yi. A delivery girl from Wu's Garden. She was going to deliver to some workers.
"My god... Why must people order so late, and order so much..." Sue whispered to herself and she kept pedaling her bike. She yawned. Lately Sue hadn't been sleeping very well, some nights, not at all. That morning she had a slight fever but it was only one degree above normal so she went on with the day. Not her smartest idea.
On top of a building near by, two peircing, ruby red eyes watched her. They started at the food on her bike and a loud growl came from the owner of the eyes stomach. Sue stopped and looked around, picking up the noise. The dark creature backed up so it wouldn't be seen. Sue shook her head and kept riding. The crature narrowed her eyes and stalked the teen in the shadows.
"Now where do I go...?" Sue asked herself. She heard a loud growl coming from a dark alley near her.
Sue looked at the alley. She saw the red eyes staring at her. "Wh-who's there...?" she stuttered. A loud, thundering roar sounded from the alley and a huge red creature charged at her and slashed her. Hard. Sue screamed and fell to the floor as blood rushed from the wound on her stomach. The creature stole the bags of food and ran off.
"Where is Sue?" Tobey asked restlessly.
"I don't know... She should've been back by now..." said Sid. He took out his cell phone to check Sue's GPS signal. "She's not moving... at all..." Sid said with concern. Tobey's eyes widened.
"Where is she?" Tobey asked.
"The ware house district." Sid said, mounting his bike immediatly and riding off.
"Wait up!" Tobey yelled and followed.
