Wizard in Grey
Cloaked in grey, the wizard doth come,
From far beyond the Shire.
With snow-white beard, long to some,
He comes over mountain or mire.
Friend of hobbit, human, and elf,
He has no interest in money.
For in his day he's needed no wealth,
Only the sky so sunny.
A helper of those in desperate need,
He's wise beyond his years.
Full of advice and doing good deed,
The wizard let's fretters not fear.
All those who seek his clever mind,
Know he's a good chap, and say,
"Bless his old soul, let his words unwind",
And "Good health to Gandalf the Grey".
