There weren't many scenes of Ethan and Caleb tonight, but I did come up with this.

So this is terribly short, but I hope to upload some more in the next couple days since it's half term I should be able to write up quite a few ideas I have.

Ethan never had to know that he'd actually viewed that flat.

Cal had his reasons.

One, he'd almost lost his brother and could not afford to let them become distant again, one way to ensure that was to live with him; two, he needed someone else, because he was struggling to cope; three, he could do with the help money wise; four, he needed to look out for Ethan and five, well, five was all of that put together.

Ethan was obviously irritated by his stay, to the point that he was even taking photos for evidence, something Ethan had given up when he was eleven as far as Caleb was aware: because he did used to take photos of everything which might help him to prove a point.

Ethan wasn't the biggest fan of Caleb staying with him, but one night he did think he could bare; two nights he thought he could suffer; three nights was pushing it, four nights was reaching a point of extreme annoyance; five nights was just too much, especially considering Cal had originally implicated one night and then said a couple and six nights was breaking point.

Which is why Ethan had spent said sixth night searching online for flats nearby that wouldn't be out of Cal's price range and not too far either - he was his brother still and Ethan had no want to push him away, just to get him further from his own space.

He had a week off after his return home from hospital which was helpful in allowing him to reorganize his flat as he wished (some of what Caleb had done was alright, but they had different tastes in a lot of areas), doing so despite Cal's wish for him to wait until after his shift.

It was as he was getting ready for work on the seventh day of Cal's stay that he decided to take his argument to his brother.

By the end of it, he was beginning to abandon his plans for a home office: maybe it would end up being a games room after all.

Cal had his reasons.

But then, doesn't everyone?
