The young man stepped carefully over the unmoving body of the young girl. They never learn he thinks as he tosses the now bloodied stake halfway across the room and grabs a torn cloth from the duffle bag behind him.
"Dean!" comes a shout in the hallway. Another young man enters the room, takes a look at the dead body on the floor and then turns to his brother, who was now wiping blood off his face. "It's done?"
"Guess so." Dean Winchester replies. "Let's get outta here. This place gives me the creeps," he says, grabbing the duffle bag and leading the way out of the room. Sam Winchester follows, not noticing the hand of the "dead" vampire girl move as he leaves the place behind him.
"Thank god that's over" Sam sighs as they reach the car.
"Yeah" Dean replies, reaching into the pocket of his jacket, searching for his keys. They were nowhere to be found. "Damn. I think I dropped my keys in there." He says as he hesitantly takes one step away from his precious car and towards the building.
"I'm gonna wait for you out here" Sam says as he looks up to see Dean reluctant to move. "What? You're not afraid to go back in there, are you?" he mocks his older brother as he leans up against the car, arms folded and smirking.
"No. Of course not." Dean snaps back. I just still have a weird feeling about the place…
He pushes the door open and steps inside, eyes scanning the now seemingly empty building. Come on Dean. You took care of whatever it was in here. What could possibly happen now? he thinks as he walks back to the room that he was just in a few minutes prior. The room was a lot colder than it was before. "What the -" he says as he notices the body that was there ten minutes ago was no longer there. "You're being stupid Dean" he whispers to himself, picking up his keys and pocketing them. "There's no way that bitch could still be alive."
As he turned to leave, the door slams shut. "I wouldn't be so sure about that."
