Disclaimer: Derek Shepherd does not belong to me. Addison does not belong to me either, neither does anyone else aside from Carson. She's mine and Jamie's creation. So don't sue we're just trying to pass time until they bring actual television back on the air as apposed to this shitty reality stuff.
A/N: The chapters are normally going to be longer but I just wanted to let everyone get a feel for the story with this little introduction.
"I can't take this anymore!" Screamed an angry Meredith Grey as she exited the house she shared with Derek Shepherd, she had gotten pregnant with his daughter Carson Shepherd. Now at the age of two months she couldn't take it anymore. She had to get away the mom thing wasn't for her so she was leaving, leaving Derek to raise their baby because she wanted nothing more to do with the little girl.
Derek was left alone with his daughter to raise and honestly he had no idea what he was going to do, so he just did what he did best and took care of that little baby girl until she was around six months old and he couldn't handle it alone anymore, he needed help and the only person he could think of was Addison Montgomery. So with finding her in mind and asking for help as the number one priority he headed to the airport and bought a plane ticket for him and his little girl Carson.
How in the world was she going to get through today? It was already terrible and it had barely begun, the air was colder than it usually was in LA and she had to spend today dealing with a woman that she was not up for dealing with. Why? Because God hated her. That was what Addison Montgomery had decided as she opened the door to Oceanside Wellness and walked in; placing her stuff down in her office Addison headed for the conference room for the morning meeting and took a seat beside of Violet and Naomi.
"He did not say that." Violet snorted to Naomi as Naomi shook her head yes and ignored the glare she was getting from Sam.
"He did, he actually said that he wanted to take the next step and go on a 'non-date date' honest to God that was what he called it!" Naomi explained as she recalled Sam telling her they needed to take their sleeping together to another level but since they were in a 'non-relationship' they would have to go on 'non-dates'.
"What are you guys talking ab-" Addison began to ask only to be completely cut off from any intelligent form of conversation when she saw Dell leading her ex husband into the conference room, and to top that off the man was carrying a baby.
"What the Hell?"
She asked in a gasping tone not sure if anyone heard her. Of course Pete and Violet and Cooper were all looking completely and totally confused and Sam and Naomi looked just blown away, and Addison well her look was priceless to say the least. What was he doing there? He was standing there. Derek Shepherd was standing there, what was he doing there? Why did he have a baby with him? All of those
questions were swarming through her mind as she took in a deep breath only to see Naomi grabbing her hand and pulling her up to usher her out of the room.
Derek stood there, not sure of what to say to everyone as he held the tiny baby girl in her carrier. Sam just gave him a 'what on earth look' and everyone else was asking each other questions of 'who is that?' 'Whats he doing here' and so on. So maybe he should have called he decided as Sam shook his head again.
