I was lying on Bella's bed as I watched her open her beautiful eyes to start the new day once again. She smiled and I pulled her closer to me. I kissed her gently on her forehead and got off of the mattress. She frowned.

"You need to pack. It's going to be a long, fun-filled day," I smiled menacingly.

"Do we really have to go camping? Together? The Cullens and Charlie? Because to me it just screams disaster waiting to happen," my beautiful Bella said with little enthusiasm.

"Charlie has to get to know my family eventually."

"Well maybe not so much," she suggested wisely.

"You're right, but we have to play the part of the supportive family. Especially if we plan on telling him we are getting married," saying it made my cold, lifeless heart flutter.

"I guess so. Time to be a human." She got up and wondered into the bathroom. Charlie was still fast asleep and would be for another 20 minutes. I went into the bathroom and grabbed Bella from behind and wrapped my arms around her waist. We both smiled at the reflection in the mirror.

"I have to go. Charlie will be waking up soon. I will be back in about an hour. I love you."

"I love you too, Edward." I left her to pack her stuff in preparation for this long trip. According to Alice it would go over well. Well enough to function, I guess. I was home in a few quick minutes. I walked into the house where everyone was packed and ready.

"Anxious much?" I said rolling my eyes at everyone sitting on the couch staring at the wall, everyone but Alice that is. All of a sudden I heard her thoughts as she walked down the stairs. I immediately knew something was up.

"Alice, what do you know?"

"What do mean, Edward?" she said sheepishly.

"You're reciting the alphabet. Have you forgot it in the last fifty years?"

"No, I just got bored." She lied.

"Stop it with the beers on the wall. You do not understand how truly annoying that is," I snapped. Then, for a spilt second she refocused her thought on what I had been waiting to see. I began to laugh hysterically.

"Edward, stop it!" she yelled. Everyone looked quite confused.

Finally, Rosalie spoke up, "What is going on?"

When I finally caught my breath and stopped rolling on the floor, I managed to explain Alice's vision. "You see Alice has seen something."

"Obviously," everyone on the couch replied at once.

"She saw Charlie," I chuckled and then turned to see all of the impatient looks and continued, "in the tent with a women… intimately." Everyone laughed except for Alice and Esme.

Esme looked upset, so I asked her what was wrong.

"How do you think Bella will take this?"

"I was thinking it would take the heat off of the whole I'm marrying your daughter and turning her into a vampire thing."

"You know what I mean. Oh, never mind. Gosh."

"Esme, she will be fine. Especially since Jasper will be there to calm her emotions," I mentioned with a wink his way.

"No problem, bro."

"Okay, lets get out of here. I am dying to see this." I said. We all grabbed our bags and split them up into our jeep and the one we rented for the occasion. Esme, Carlisle, Emmett, and Rosalie pilled into one while Alice, Jasper, and I jumped in the other. After this, we were off to pick up the mortals.
