Truth-a twist in your dishonest words
Trickery to my ears, for truth no longer exists.
Your lies that trap me, making me a prisoner to my heart.
My too truthful feelings choking me tenderly.
Your little white lies avalanche into tall terrible monstrosities.
My inner demons, like trolls tripping over my lies.
How can I trust you when I cant even trust myself?
Untrustworthy…we both are.
But it seems no matter how hard I try to resist,
I follow you down the path of my own destruction,
Where time no longer exists.
Like a truck, your lies smash me into turmoil.
Truth now seems like a difficult task for you and I,
Yet you still tempt me.
Despite your dishonesty, I treasure you.
