2 months.
2 months he's been with me, following me, stalking me, watching me. 2 months of no touch, no speech... just his presence. I feel him every waking hour of my unlife, just watching. He's like a ghost riding the darkness... but at least it's him. I want to reach into the shadows and pull his lithe body to mine but I'm almost certain that he'd run without even a glance back.
A flash of blond and black in the corner of my eye, whiskey and cigarettes under my nose, barely audible scuffs of his boots touching my ears.
I may be unable to claim him as mine, but something will always better than nothing at all.
He's haunting me.
