Author's Note: Happy Thanksgiving! I made it by deadline! More vdB/N-JBC/LEXI time!

The kids were back from their respective schools for the holiday. Lily planned for a small, intimate gathering with only the immediate family, Blair and both sets of her parents, and Nate. (Anne had been invited – out of courtesy – but the Vanderbilts were celebrating in Connecticut. Nate chose to be with his best friends over the crazy, uncomfortable event with his blood family. Plus, Serena was lying all over him. Not that that was relevant, whatsoever.)

The parents gathered together off to the parlor area, talking and drinking. The children were in various positions on the couches and floor, watching football and eating (and drinking, let's be real).

Blair was lying across the couch, head on a pillow, stocking-clad feet in Chuck's lap. He was lightly rubbing her legs and feet while watching the television.

Serena was draped all over Nate on the other couch. Presently, they were in a tickling war. Aside from the commentators speaking, the only sound was of the blonds' laughter.

Eric was on the floor, sitting against the couch Blair was on, her hand unconsciously running through his hair. He was watching the game, texting his boyfriend, and eating more turkey. (Not in that order, but he was paying more attention than Nate; that had to count for something!)

Suddenly, long blonde hair appeared to Chuck's left and he turned, seeing a 3-year-old staring up at him, sleepily. He smiled and reached over, grabbing his baby sister and bringing her to sit on his lap in front of Blair's legs. (She moved them together, pressing against her boyfriend's stomach. What? She was comfortable!)

"Did I miss pie?"

Blair smiled and looked at the siblings. "You didn't miss anything, Sweetie."

Eric then turned his head and hands, lifting a plate with a small slice of the Famous Waldorf Apple Pie.

His sister beamed, reached out, and grabbed the plate and fork. "Thanks, Eric!" And she took a quick bite, leaning against Chuck's chest and Blair's legs. "Next time I can help?" she asked Blair, staring at the game in front of her.

Blair sat up and kissed the top of Lexi's head. "Next year, I promise you can help." Four was old enough to crush the crumbs, right?

The group lapsed into silence again, with Lexi enjoying the pie and Eric still munching on turkey and texting his boyfriend.

Five minutes later, the little girl spoke up. "So, who's playing? Who's winning?"

Nate answered with: "Yeah, Eric. Who's winning?"

The teenager looked up from his phone and threw Nate a glare. "Excuse you. I've been watching the game while you and Serena are fooling around over there." And, for good measure, he threw a piece of turkey at the blonds.

Lexi grinned and looked around. Her brother and Blair were smiling and at constant physical contact – his right hand stroking her legs. Blair's hand was back to petting Eric's hair. Serena and Nate were cuddled together, Nate half watching the game, half staring at Serena.

The little girl totally understood why this was Blair's favorite holiday. Everyone was together and happy.

.end.

AN #2: I still alive, promise! BUT! I haven't watched since Cece's death. So, yeah, crazy vdB/BART BASS fangirl, but I'm also a terrible spoilerphobe. So, please, don't mention anything since Cece's death (like, anyone possibly returning?!), PLEASE. And I PROMISE. I will get back to Tiffany's, one day.
