AN: As I am LOVING series 5 so far, I thought I'd write a little story about the Doctor and his current companion. This is a one-shot but if I get enough kind reviews, I'll extend it. There are no spoilers in here.

Summary: When Amy's awakened by a very unstable TARDIS, she is curious about why everything's out of control. Just a nice little one-shot. 11/Amy. A bit "fluffy" I suppose. I'm not very good at summaries but please do read and review. (:
Mistakes
The sound of a book falling to the floor awoke Amy from her slumber. She had been reading before she settled down to sleep and left her heavy book teetering precariously on the edge of her beside table.
Still half asleep, she thought nothing of the books descend from the table until she realised other items were sliding off surfaces and the TARDIS was jolting and shaky.
Alarmed, she jumped out of bed and starting stumbling slowly to the console room.
"Doctor! Doctor? What's happening?" Amy called as she approached him.
The Doctor was rushing madly around the console room, fumbling with switches and pulling various levers. He was wearing his ordinary clothes, including the bowtie, and it appeared he had not been sleeping at all before this commotion. He looked highly concerned and panicked about the situation as he busily hurried over the controls.
Amy was not pleased at being ignored for any period of time.
"Oi, Doctor! I asked you a question! What's happening?"
The Doctor looked up startled.
"Well?" Amy questioned.
"Oh, nothing to worry about. It's just a minor case of Destructive Furmadinosis."
"In simple English please Doctor," Amy demanded curiously.
The Doctor looked down slightly, his checks warming fractionally.
"Eh… Well… I pressed the wrong button," he answered shyly.
Much to the Doctor's embarrassment Amy found this highly amusing. She fell to the floor and sat there laughing for a while.
"Shut it, Pond. Everyone makes mistakes," the Doctor said a little aggressively.
"Even the Doctor?" Amy questioned between laughter.
"Even the Doctor," he replied
