My lover's gone, his boots no longer by my door, he left at dawn, and as I slept I felt him go. Returns no more, I will not watch the ocean. My lover's gone; no earthly ships will ever bring him home again. Bring him home again.
I slowly got off the bed. There
he was sleeping like an innocent babe. It amazed me how much this man had
affected me in my life. I wanted to kiss him, to touch him, to feel him love me
as much as I loved him. Alas, it was not meant to be. I had my own path that I
had to follow as he had his. Slowly putting on my clothes, I smiled as I
remember the time we had together. The stolen kisses, the many nights we had
told the others (1) that we were not feeling well just to be with one another,
how we would sneak to the garden after we were sure that no one, nay even a
mouse was awake, and make love under the moonlight. I would cherish what we had
together.
My lover's gone. I know that kiss will be my last, no more his song; the tune upon his lips has passed.
Finished dressing, I looked at
my sweet lover on the bed. Walking over t the bed, I bent over and gave him a
sweet, chaste kiss. It would be our last for forever.
I sing alone, while I watch the ocean. My lover's gone; no earthly ships

"Farewell Lord Kunzite" I whispered.
I then left the room and closed the door but not before I thought I heard my name murmured.
"Serenity"
