Percy POV
I was just sitting in the Hermes cabin minding my own business before capture the flag. Then a soldier barged in with Annabeth I went to make sure she was okay. She was breathing, but I didn't know if she could hold much longer. I hope she's gonna be okay, so I go over and it may sound clich but get over it. I kiss her. Her eyes flutter open and I grab my thermos full of ambrosia so she'll drink it. she drinks it and the color comes back to her face. After that, we go see Chiron.
"Someone's in order for punishment." Chiron thundered at the campfire. The fire was dwindling down to a purple color. Everyone cowered but me, Thalia, and Annabeth. Chiron releases us, but comes over to me and Annabeth to let us know that we can stay out a little past curfew so that we could get her some fresh air. We walked over to the beach and I fingered the ring in my pocket. WE get to a very beautiful spot and I take full advantage. I get down on one knee and say, "Annabeth from the moment I met you-" "Wait lemme record this," and she fumbles for her recorder, "okay you can go know." "annabeth from the moment I met you, I knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life with you. The fierce, hot blonde that the first thing she said to me was, and I quote, 'you drool in your sleep' but I will love and cherish you forever, will you marry me?" "Yes," And I slip the ring on her finger and say, "Look at the engraving." she does and she gives me a happy smile and starts crying tears of joy. "You'll always be my Wise Girl." and I kiss her.
