The Singing Robot
Inspired by: Kokoro by Kagamine Rin
Don't mind me, I'm just a robot
Who loved singing and was left to rot
But I, out of my own free will
Got up from the dump and walked 'till
I was finally in the town
And someone showed me around
She seemed to be of young age
She brought me to a great stage
Where I sung many songs and had a blast
And after that a spectator asked
Where had I learned how to sing?
As when it came to singing, I was the king
I answered that I was programmed this way
But he screamed and ran away
Shouting, "It's a singing robot!"
But the little girl still feared me not
And she became my very best friend
But when she came to her life's end
She left me with a sheet of lyrics
That were simple in appearance
But they were her treasure
So when she passed, I made sure
To make the lyrics into a song
That I sang whole day and night long
I sang like that for a century
Hoping to sing for eternity
Or at least until I rusted.
