Prologue
-Know, why don't you both go to greet her? – said the Chairman kinda exited.
-Why do we have to go? – refused Zero.
-'Come on Zero, we can make another friend, besides, she'll feel kinda weird if no one greets her…
-Whatever…
-Ok then… she must be arriving by… now^^ - concluded Yuuki's step father.
The both lads look through the window a little confused after seeing the Chairman's happy expression.

At the entrance of the Cross Academy…
The new girl was walking down the entrance path, looking at her feet, with her long black hair covering her face. Everyone around there was gossiping intangible things, making the strange one feel even more weird.
She started to walk faster and faster, trying to find her way to the main office, but in the middle of her race she crashed with something or someone, making her fall to the ground.
-Zero! You made her fall! – yelled Yuuki, who was a lil'bit annoyed by Zero's attitude… - Are you ok?
The girl didn't say a word; she just stood up and started to pick her stuff, without showing her face.
The brown haired girl bended down to help the new one with her stuff, but at the moment she gas going to pick a sheet of paper her both hands touched. Yuuki left a little gasp out of her moth when she felt the unusual cold temperature of the new girl's skin.
-I-I'm sorry… I can handle it… - whispered the black haired girl with a cold-indifferent tone while gathering her things as fast as she could.
-You are Himeko Yami, aren't ya? – asked Zero
-So what if I am? – answered the girl after stopping her walk
-We are here to escort you to your room – said Yuuki gently
-I don't need any escort… - refused Yami turning her head, showing her gloomy red eyes
-…Orders are orders… - declared Zero after few seconds of looking into her unusual deep eyes.
