5 ducks & a baby chapter 1

Louie groaned "Who the hell is up at this hour?" He said. He slowly got out of bed pulled on his hoodie and slipped his knife into his pocket "Just in case" He muttered knowing full well how many enemies his uncle had.

He then carefully made his way down the ladder and into the house. This was technically speaking Scrooge's house but him, His brothers, Webby, and Lena where the only ones who ever actually stayed here. He opened the door and was confused to find that no one was there. He looked around and saw that was a basket on the porch "Oh no" He groaned desperately hoping it wasn't what he thought it was. It was. Inside the basket was a baby jackal.

"Louie what are you doi…" Huey stopped talking when he saw what was on the porch "Where did that come from?!" he yelled.

"I don't know I heard a knock and when I opened the door there was this" Louie said.

"Why did you leave me Huey?" Dewey said drowsily leaning on the couch "Louie? Your up to?" He said taking notice of him.

"Yes an-" Louie started.

"IS THAT A BABY!" Webby said shoving Huey and Louie aside which caused Huey to hit a wall and Louie to crash onto the floor.

"Webby?" Huey said surprised.

"What the hell is going on?" Lena asked.

"Lena look the stork showed up!" Webby said showing her the basket.

"Riiight. So what's actually going on" Lena asked.

"Someone left that on or porch" Louie said still on the floor.

"Oh. Great" Lena said.

Then the baby woke up and started crying. Huey quickly pulled out the junior woodchuck guidebook and flipped through it. Louie rolled his eyes and looked at the kid for a moment then walked into the kitchen. He returned with a filled baby bottle.

"Louie what are you doing?" Dewey asked.

Louie simply gave the baby the bottle and it began to eat "How did you know to do that?" Huey asked.

"I used to babysit when we were younger" Louie said.

"Why?"

Louie raised a eyebrow "What other job could I have gotten at that age?" he said.

"I thought you where a c-" Dewey started but Louie shushed him.

"So what now?" Webby asked.

"I guess we take it to bed" Huey said.

There was silence for a moment "...So who's sleeping with him?" Dewey asked.

They all looked toward Louie "Seriously" Louie said "Fine"

So that's how Louie duck ended up in a attic in a bunk bed with a baby.

That morning

Huey walked into the kitchen with Dewey to find Louie passed out on the floor with the baby.

"Umm. Should we wake them?" Dewey asked.

Huey considered it for a moment "Later"

They walked into the living room and sat down on the couch Dewey pulled out his earbuds and started listening to powerline. Lena walked out and headed to the kitchen when she saw Louie on the ground she pulled out her phone and took a picture then started making some ravioli.

"Louie?" Webby said having just come into the kitchen.

Lena shushed her.

"So is it like or kid now?" Webby asked.

"I...Guess" Huey said.

"Shouldn't we name it?" Webby asked.

"His name is Jackie" Louie mumbled.

They all turned to him "How long have you been awake?" Dewey asked.

"How long were you standing there?" Huey asked.

"Around the time we started talking about naming him" Dewey said.

"Anyway. I've been up a few minute I just didn't feel like moving" Louie said.

"Of course" Dewey said.

"And I as I said his name is Jackie" Louie said.

"Jackie? Jackie the jackal?" Dewey said smirking.

"Yes Dewford" Louie said becoming exasperated.

"Cute" Dewey said.
