She was dead, and he'd killed her.
Sure, it hadn't been at his hand, but it was his fault. He knew she'd find out eventually, when he began his affair with the younger girl, but he never thought she'd take it so hard.
He'd never thought she'd end her life, kill herself.
He never thought it would end so badly. But it had, and he was to blame. Nobody else, just him. He could have saved her, somehow. He could have stopped her.
But she just wasn't enough for him, and now, he'd killed her. He hated himself for it.
He bloody hated himself.
She was dead. And he'd killed her.
